Project Kick-off
At the outset, I engage clients in a comprehensive discussion to understand their vision, objectives, and preferences. This phase lays the foundation for a tailored and custom video or photo product. We delve into the functional requirements and aesthetic aspirations of the project.
Moodboard & First Iterations
Crafting a visual narrative, we can develop a story board or mood board with you that encapsulates the design direction. Initial iterations incorporate client feedback, refining the concept into a cohesive blueprint that aligns with their tastes and the project’s objectives.
Feedback & Subsequent Iterations
Client input is paramount. I actively seek feedback on design proposals, facilitating an iterative process that hones in on the perfect balance between client vision and my design expertise. This collaborative approach ensures the final design surpasses expectations.
Project Implementation
With a finalized design in hand, I orchestrate the implementation of the project. Coordinating with artisans and suppliers, I oversee the execution, ensuring every detail aligns with the approved design. This phase culminates in the realization of the envisioned space.
A little (or a lot) about me.
I’ll be honest — even after doing this a bunch of times, writing about myself still feels a little awkward. But here we go..
I was born and raised in East Tennessee (Go Vols, had to say it), and I’ve had a camera in my hand, in one form or another since high school. That’s where I first fell in love with video production, and I carried that passion into college. While studying digital media production, I got the chance to run the social media for some of my university’s sports teams, play soccer all four years, and somehow squeeze in scuba diving, binge-watching Formula 1, and traveling to some wild places. From swimming Caribbean reefs to standing just feet away from grizzlies in Alaska.
When I came back home, I knew I wanted to keep telling stories through a lens. A family friend asked if I could film their wedding, and in true Charlie fashion, I went all in. To my surprise, I absolutely loved it; the energy, the emotion, the little in-between moments that matter most.Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to turn that passion into a career. I love working with people, learning their stories, and creating something meaningful together. If you’re into candid moments, genuine connection, and films that feel like you, we’ll get along just fine.
My Recent Projects
This is the wedding of Joe and Kyra Goodman. They built their wedding around the friends and family that were both present and absent. This loving couple focuses strongly on their friends and families, and so they wanted their wedding video to represent that. Their wedding was one of the most fun experiences i’ve had and i look forward to bringing that experience into my future wedding films.

Spending the afternoon with Maddy and Adam for their engagement shoot was such a blast. They’re one of those couples who you just know are made to be together. Always laughing, always in sync, just along for the ride as long as they are together. We learned about them while chatting and captured moments that felt real, not posed. It’s sessions like this that remind me how special and fun my job is.
